Strawberry Shortcake Biscuits
Fresh strawberries and whipped cream served over warm homemade biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 2.00 tbsp sugar
- 1.00 tbsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 6.00 tbsp cold butter
- 0.67 cup heavy cream
- 2.00 cup fresh strawberries , sliced
- 3.00 tbsp sugar for berries
- 1.00 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2.00 tbsp powdered sugar for whipped cream
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Mix flour, 2 tbsp sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in cold butter until crumbly.

Add cream and stir until just combined.

Pat dough to 3/4 inch and cut into rounds.

Bake 12-14 minutes until golden.

Meanwhile mix strawberries with 3 tbsp sugar and let macerate 30 minutes.

Whip cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

Split warm biscuits and top with strawberries and whipped cream.
