Pound Cake
A dense buttery pound cake made with real butter and cream cheese.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.50 tsp baking powder
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 3.00 cup sugar
- 1.00 cup butter , softened
- 6.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup sour cream
- 2.00 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325°F and grease and flour a large tube or bundt pan.

Cream butter and sugar together until very light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.

Alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream to butter mixture, beginning and ending with flour.

Stir in vanilla.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pan 15 minutes then turn out.

Serve sliced with fresh berries or whipped cream.
