Ingredients

  • 2.00 squirrels , cleaned and cut up
  • 2.00 cup buttermilk
  • 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.00 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.00 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

    Soak squirrel pieces in buttermilk overnight.

    Mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    Remove from buttermilk and dredge in seasoned flour.

    Fry in oil at 325°F for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until deep golden brown and cooked through.
