Strawberry Cake
A fresh strawberry layer cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.00 tbsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 1.00 cup butter
- 2.00 cup sugar
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup strawberry puree
- 0.50 cup whole milk
- 2.00 tsp vanilla
- strawberry frosting: 1 cup butter , 4 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 cup strawberry puree, pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF and grease three 9-inch pans.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time.

Mix strawberry puree with milk.

Alternate adding flour mixture and strawberry-milk mixture.

Stir in vanilla.

Divide among pans and bake 25-30 minutes.

Cool completely.

Make frosting by beating butter until fluffy then mixing in powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and salt.

Frost cake layers and outside.
