Watermelon Sorbet
Fresh watermelon blended with sugar and lemon into a refreshing sorbet.
Ingredients
- 4.00 cup seedless watermelon cubed
- 0.50 cup sugar
- 0.25 cup water
- 2.00 tbsp fresh lime juice
- pinch of salt

Make simple syrup by heating sugar and water until sugar dissolves.

Cool completely.

Blend watermelon until very smooth.

Strain through a sieve.

Mix with cooled simple syrup, lime juice, and salt.

Pour into a shallow freezer-safe dish.

Freeze 2 hours.

Scrape with a fork to break up crystals.

Repeat scraping every hour for 4-6 hours until fluffy and granita-like.
