Southern Shrimp Stew
A thick stew with Gulf shrimp, potatoes, and corn in a rich broth.
Ingredients
- 2.00 lb large shrimp , peeled
- 4.00 slice bacon , chopped
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 1.00 g reen bell pepper , diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 4.00 medium potatoes , diced
- 1.00 cup an tomatoes
- 3.00 cup chicken broth
- cajun seasoning , salt, and pepper
- green onions
Instructions

Cook bacon until crispy, remove and set aside.

Sautรฉ onion and bell pepper in bacon drippings.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add potatoes and broth and bring to a boil.

Cook 15 minutes until potatoes are almost tender.

Add tomatoes and season with Cajun seasoning.

Add shrimp and cook 3-5 minutes until pink.
