Southern BLT
Thick bacon, ripe summer tomatoes, and lettuce on toasted white bread with Duke's mayo.
Ingredients
- 8.00 slice thick-cut bacon
- 4.00 l arge ripe tomatoes , sliced
- 8.00 l eaves romaine lettuce
- 8.00 slice white bread , toasted
- 0.33 cup mayonnaise
- salt and black pepper
Instructions

Cook bacon in a skillet until very crispy.

Drain on paper towels.

Toast bread until golden.

Spread mayonnaise generously on each slice of toast.

Layer lettuce on bottom slice.

Add thick tomato slices and season with salt and pepper.

Top with 2-3 strips of bacon.

Close sandwich and cut diagonally.
