Southern Freezer Pickles
Quick refrigerator pickles with cucumbers, onion, and sweet brine.
Ingredients
- 4.00 cup cucumbers , sliced thin
- 1.00 cup onions
- 1.00 tbsp salt
- 1.00 cup sugar
- 1.00 cup white vinegar
- 0.50 tsp celery seed
Instructions

Combine cucumbers and onions in a bowl.

Sprinkle with salt and let sit 2 hours.

Drain and rinse.

Mix sugar, vinegar, and celery seed until sugar dissolves.

Pour over cucumbers and onions.

Pack into freezer containers or jars.
