Praline French Toast
French toast topped with a buttery pecan praline sauce — pure New Orleans magic.
Ingredients
- 1.00 l oaf thick- bread
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup whole milk
- 1.00 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.00 tsp cinnamon
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- praline topping: 1/2 cup butter , 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Make praline topping by melting butter with brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.

Stir in pecans and cinnamon. Keep warm.

Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together.

Dip bread slices and coat both sides.

Cook in butter in a skillet 2-3 minutes per side until golden.

Drizzle warm praline sauce over each serving.
