Southern Egg and Cheese Grits
Soft scrambled eggs folded into creamy cheese grits for the perfect bowl.
Ingredients
- 1.00 cup stone-ground grits
- 4.00 cup water
- 1.00 tsp salt
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Bring water and salt to a boil.

Slowly whisk in grits.

Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring often, 20-25 minutes until thick and creamy.

Stir in butter and cheese until melted.
