Southern Baked Pork Chops
Thick pork chops baked with onions, apples, and a honey glaze.
Ingredients
- 4.00 thick bone-in pork chops
- 1.00 onion , sliced
- 1.00 cup chicken broth
- 2.00 tbsp soy sauce
- 2.00 tbsp brown sugar
- 1.00 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Brown in an oven-safe skillet 3 minutes per side.

Remove chops.

Sauté onion until softened.

Mix broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar.

Return chops to skillet and pour sauce over.

Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.

Uncover and bake 15 more minutes until pork is cooked through and sauce has reduced.
