Smoked Sausage and Cabbage
Sliced smoked sausage braised with cabbage, onions, and a splash of vinegar.
Ingredients
- 1.00 lb smoked sausage , sliced
- 1.00 head green cabbage , chopped
- 1.00 onion , sliced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 1.00 cup chicken broth
- 2.00 tbsp butter
- salt , pepper, and caraway seeds to taste
Instructions

Brown sausage slices in a large skillet and remove.

Melt butter in same skillet.

Sauté onion until softened.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add cabbage and stir to coat.

Pour in broth.

Season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds.

Return sausage to pan.

Cover and cook 20-25 minutes until cabbage is very tender.

Adjust seasoning and serve.
