Pecan Tassies
Miniature pecan pies in a cream cheese pastry cup.
Ingredients
- pastry: 3 oz cream cheese , 1/2 cup butter softened, 1 cup all-purpose flour
- filling: 1 large egg , 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp butter melted, 1 tsp vanilla, pinch of salt, 2/3 cup chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

Stir in flour until dough forms.

Refrigerate 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Roll dough into 24 balls and press into mini muffin tin cups.

Mix filling by beating egg with brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.

Divide pecans among pastry cups.

Spoon filling over pecans.

Bake 25 minutes until filling is set and pastry is lightly golden.

Cool before removing from tin.
