Pecan Sandies
Buttery melt in your mouth pecan shortbread cookies.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup powdered sugar
- 1.00 cup butter
- 2.00 tsp water
- 2.00 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.00 cup finely pecans
- powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions

Cream butter and 1/4 cup powdered sugar until light.

Add water and vanilla.

Stir in flour and pecans until dough forms.

Refrigerate 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 325ยฐF.

Roll into small crescents or balls.

Place on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 20-25 minutes until very lightly golden.

While still warm roll in powdered sugar.

Cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.

Store in airtight container.
