Strawberry Preserves Cake
A white cake layered with homemade strawberry preserves and cream.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.00 tbsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 1.00 cup butter
- 2.00 cup sugar
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup whole milk
- 2.00 tsp vanilla
- 1.00 cup strawberry preserves
- cream cheese frosting: 8 oz cream cheese , 1/2 cup butter, 4 cups powdered sugar, 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease three 9-inch pans.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time.

Alternate adding flour mixture and milk.

Stir in vanilla.

Divide batter among pans and bake 25-30 minutes.

Cool completely.

Make cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese and butter until fluffy, mixing in powdered sugar and vanilla.

Spread strawberry preserves between layers then frost the outside.
