Roasted Peanut Soup
A creamy Virginia-style peanut soup — unusual and utterly delicious.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup roasted peanuts
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 4.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 cup whole milk
- 2.00 tbsp butter
- 0.50 tsp cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- peanuts
Instructions

Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.

Sauté onion until softened.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add peanuts and broth and bring to a simmer.

Cook 15 minutes.

Blend until smooth with an immersion blender.

Stir in milk and cayenne.
