Ingredients

  • 4.00 fresh peaches peeled halved and pitted
  • 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.00 tbsp baking powder
  • 1.00 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup whole milk
  • 6.00 tbsp cold butter
  • sauce: 1/2 cup butter , 1 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Make dumpling dough by cutting cold butter into flour mixture then adding milk.

    Roll thin and cut into squares large enough to wrap each peach half.

    Place a peach half on each square.

    Bring corners up and pinch to seal.

    Place in a greased 9x13 dish.

    Make sauce by simmering butter, sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla.

    Pour over dumplings.

    Bake 40-45 minutes until golden and sauce is bubbly.

    Serve warm with ice cream.
