Overnight French Toast Casserole
Thick bread soaked overnight in a custard egg mixture and baked with a pecan streusel.
Ingredients
- 1.00 l oaf french bread , cubed
- 8.00 l arge eggs
- 2.00 cup whole milk
- 0.50 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 2.00 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.00 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp nutmeg
- topping: 1/2 cup brown sugar , 1/2 cup butter softened, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tsp cinnamon

Arrange bread cubes in a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Pour over bread, pressing bread down to absorb.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Next morning preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix brown sugar, butter, flour, and cinnamon until crumbly.
