Moonshine Cake
A boozy pound cake soaked in moonshine simple syrup.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.00 tbsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 1.00 cup butter
- 2.00 cup sugar
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup whole milk
- 2.00 tsp vanilla
- 0.25 cup moonshine or clear corn whiskey
- moonshine glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar , 3 tbsp moonshine, 1 tbsp milk

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a bundt pan.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Alternate adding flour mixture and milk with moonshine.

Stir in vanilla.

Pour into pan and bake 50-60 minutes until done.

Cool 15 minutes then turn out.

Make glaze by whisking powdered sugar with moonshine and milk.

Drizzle over cooled cake.
