Ingredients

  • 2.00 cup dried navy beans
  • 1.00 l arge ham hock
  • 1.00 onion , diced
  • 4.00 cup loves garlic , minced
  • 6.00 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

    Soak beans overnight and drain.

    Place all ingredients in slow cooker.

  3. 3

    Cook on low 8-10 hours until beans are very tender.

  4. 4

    Remove ham hock and shred any meat.

  5. 5

    Return meat to beans.

  6. 6

    Mash some beans to thicken.

  7. 7

    Season with salt and pepper.

  8. 8

    Serve with cornbread.
