Peach Upside Down Cake
Fresh peaches caramelized in brown sugar under a buttery yellow cake.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup butter
- 1.00 cup brown sugar
- 4.00 fresh peaches peeled and
- cake: 1 1/2 cups flour , 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter softened, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup peach nectar or juice, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF.

Pour melted butter into a 9x13 pan and spread brown sugar over it.

Arrange peach slices over brown sugar.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in eggs.

Alternate adding flour mixture and peach juice.

Stir in vanilla.

Pour over peaches.

Bake 40-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool 5 minutes then carefully invert onto a platter.
