Grits and Eggs Skillet
Cast iron skillet with creamy grits, fried eggs, and crumbled bacon.
Ingredients
- 1.00 cup quick grits
- 4.00 cup water
- 1.00 tsp salt
- 2.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 cup cheddar
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 4.00 slice bacon , cooked and crumbled
- 2.00 g reen onions , sliced
- hot sauce
Instructions

Cook grits in salted water according to package directions.

Stir in butter and cheddar cheese.

Pour into a greased oven-safe skillet.

Make 4 wells in the grits.

Crack an egg into each well.

Broil in oven until egg whites are set but yolks are still runny, about 5-7 minutes.

Top with crumbled bacon and green onions.
