Southern Cornbread Dressing
A savory cornbread dressing with celery, onion, and sage — a holiday staple.
Ingredients
- 4.00 cup crumbled cornbread
- 4.00 slice white bread , toasted and crumbled
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 3.00 stalks celery , diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 4.00 tbsp butter
- 3.00 cup chicken broth
- 2.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 tsp sage
- 1.00 tsp thyme
- salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.

Sauté onion and celery in butter until softened, about 8 minutes.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Combine crumbled cornbread and white bread in a large bowl.
