Creamed Corn
Fresh corn cooked down in cream and butter until thick and sweet.
Ingredients
- 4.00 cup fresh corn kernels
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- 0.50 cup heavy cream
- 0.50 cup whole milk
- 2.00 tbsp sugar
- 2.00 tbsp all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.

Add corn and cook 3-4 minutes.

Mix flour with a little of the cream to make a smooth paste.

Add remaining cream and milk to corn.

Stir in flour mixture and sugar.

Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thickened and creamy, about 10 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.
