Fried Hominy
Canned hominy pan fried with butter, onion, and spices until crispy.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup ans hominy , drained
- 4.00 strips bacon , chopped
- 1.00 onion , diced
- salt and pepper
- hot sauce
Instructions

Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy.

Remove bacon and set aside.

Sauté onion in bacon drippings until softened.

Add drained hominy to the skillet.

Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until hominy starts to brown and crisp, about 10-15 minutes.
