Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Buttery mashed potatoes whipped smooth with cream and real butter.
Ingredients
- 3.00 lb russet potatoes , peeled and quartered
- 0.50 cup butter
- 1.00 cup whole milk or cream , warmed
- salt and white pepper
Instructions

Boil potatoes in salted water until very tender, about 20 minutes.

Drain completely.

Return to pot over low heat and let steam dry 1-2 minutes.

Rice or mash potatoes until smooth.

Add butter and stir until melted.

Gradually add warm milk, stirring until you reach desired consistency.
