Crawfish Bisque
A rich and creamy bisque with Gulf crawfish tails and Cajun seasonings.
Ingredients
- 1.00 lb crawfish tails
- 4.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 3.00 stalks celery , diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 4.00 cup seafood or chicken broth
- 1.00 cup heavy cream
- cajun seasoning , salt, and pepper
- green onions
Instructions

Melt butter in a heavy pot over medium heat.

Sauté onion and celery until very soft, about 10 minutes.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Whisk in flour and cook 2 minutes.

Slowly add broth, whisking constantly.

Simmer 15 minutes.

Add crawfish and cream.

Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
