Peach Pound Cake
A moist pound cake loaded with fresh peaches and topped with glaze.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.50 tsp baking soda
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1.00 cup butter
- 3.00 cup sugar
- 6.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup sour cream
- 2.00 tsp vanilla extract
- 2.00 cup fresh peaches , peeled and diced
- glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar , 2 tbsp peach juice or milk

Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a large tube pan.

Cream butter and sugar until very fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time.

Alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream.

Stir in vanilla and fold in diced peaches.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pan 15 minutes then turn out.

Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and peach juice.
