Brown Sugar Bacon
Thick bacon coated in brown sugar and black pepper baked until perfectly caramelized.
Ingredients
- 1.00 lb thick cut bacon
- 0.50 cup brown sugar
- 1.00 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.

Mix brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne together.

Lay bacon strips on rack.

Press brown sugar mixture firmly onto top side of each bacon strip.

Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and sugar is caramelized.

Let cool on rack for 5 minutes before serving — sugar coating will harden.
