Ingredients

  • 1.00 round italian loaf or muffuletta bread
  • 0.50 lb ham
  • 0.50 lb salami
  • 0.50 lb provolone cheese
  • olive salad: 1 cup green olives , 1 cup black olives, 1/2 cup giardiniera, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 cloves garlic, herbs

Instructions

    Make olive salad by roughly chopping olives and mixing with giardiniera, olive oil, and garlic.

    Let marinate at least 1 hour.

    Slice bread horizontally.

  4. 4

    Spread olive salad generously on both cut sides.

    Layer ham, salami, and provolone on bottom half.

    Close sandwich.

    Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.

    Press under a heavy pan 30 minutes before serving.

    Slice into wedges.
