Trout Almondine Southern Style
Pan-seared trout with toasted almonds and a brown butter lemon sauce.
Ingredients
- 4.00 rainbow trout fillets
- 0.50 cup almonds
- 4.00 tbsp butter
- 2.00 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.00 tbsp fresh parsley , chopped
- salt and pepper
- all-purpose flour for dusting
Instructions

Season trout with salt and pepper and dust lightly with flour.

Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook trout 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Remove and keep warm.

Add remaining butter to pan and toast almonds until golden, about 2 minutes.

Add lemon juice and parsley.

Pour almond butter sauce over trout.

Serve immediately.
