Southern Rice Pilaf
Fluffy rice cooked with onion, celery, and chicken broth.
Ingredients
- 1.50 cup long-grain white rice
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 onion , finely diced
- 2.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 3.00 cup chicken broth
- salt and pepper
- fresh parsley
Instructions

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Sauté onion until very soft and translucent, about 8 minutes.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add rice and stir to coat, cooking 1-2 minutes.

Pour in broth and bring to a boil.

Stir once, reduce heat to low, cover tightly.

Cook 18-20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

Fluff with fork.

Season with salt and pepper.
