A savory pot pie with chicken, vegetables, and a flaky homemade crust.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup cooked chicken or beef , diced
- 1.00 cup peas
- 1.00 cup carrots
- 1.00 cup potatoes
- 0.50 cup celery
- 4.00 tbsp butter
- 0.33 cup flour
- 2.00 cup broth
- 1.00 cup whole milk
- salt , pepper, and thyme
- biscuit dough or pie crust for topping
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Melt butter in a saucepan.

Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.

Gradually add broth and milk, stirring until thick.

Add all vegetables and meat.
