Southern Pork Roast
A bone-in pork shoulder slow roasted with herbs until crispy outside and tender inside.
Ingredients
- 3.00 lb pork shoulder roast
- 4.00 cup loves garlic , sliced
- 1.00 tbsp brown sugar
- 1.00 tsp salt
- 1.00 tsp black pepper
- 1.00 tsp paprika
- 1.00 tsp garlic powder
- 1.00 onion , sliced
- 2.00 cup chicken broth
Instructions

Make small slits in pork roast and insert garlic slices.

Mix brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Rub all over roast.

Place onion slices in bottom of roasting pan.

Set roast on top.

Pour broth around roast.

Cover tightly and roast at 325°F for 3-4 hours until very tender.

Baste occasionally.

Rest 15 minutes before slicing or shredding.
