Southern Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned ground beef and rice in tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 12.00 l arge cabbage leaves
- 1.50 lb ground beef
- 1.00 cup cooked white rice
- 1.00 onion , finely diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- salt , pepper, and Italian seasoning
- 2.00 cup ans tomato sauce
- 1.00 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions

Boil cabbage leaves 3-4 minutes until pliable.

Mix ground beef, rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Place a few tablespoons of filling in each leaf and roll up, tucking in sides.

Place seam side down in a baking dish.

Mix tomato sauce with brown sugar and pour over rolls.

Cover with foil.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until meat is cooked through and cabbage is tender.

Rest 5 minutes before serving.
