Sorghum Cookies
Old fashioned cookies sweetened with sorghum syrup and warm spices.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.00 tsp baking soda
- 1.00 tsp cinnamon
- 0.50 tsp ginger
- 0.25 tsp cloves
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 0.75 cup butter
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 1.00 l arge egg
- 0.25 cup sorghum syrup
- sugar for rolling
Instructions

Whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt together.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in egg and sorghum syrup.

Stir in flour mixture until dough forms.

Refrigerate 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Roll into balls and roll in sugar.

Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.

Bake 10-12 minutes until crinkled.
