Smothered Turkey Wings
Giant turkey wings braised in a rich onion gravy until fall-off-the-bone.
Ingredients
- 4.00 turkey wings
- 0.50 cup all-purpose flour
- salt , pepper, and garlic powder
- 3.00 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1.00 l arge onion , sliced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 2.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 tsp thyme
Instructions

Season turkey wings generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Dust with flour.

Brown in hot oil 5 minutes per side.

Remove and set aside.

Sauté sliced onion until golden.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Return wings to pot.

Add broth and thyme.

Cover and braise in oven at 325°F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until very tender.
