Ingredients

  • 1.00 qt vanilla ice cream
  • 2.00 cup crushed cornflakes or graham crackers
  • 2.00 tbsp sugar
  • 1.00 tsp cinnamon
  • 2.00 eggs
  • oil for frying
  • whipped cream honey and cherries

Instructions

    Scoop ice cream into large balls.

    Freeze on a baking sheet until very firm, at least 2 hours.

  3. 3

    Mix crushed cornflakes with sugar and cinnamon.

  4. 4

    Roll ice cream balls in crumb mixture.

  5. 5

    Dip in beaten egg then roll in crumbs again.

  6. 6

    Freeze again at least 1 hour.

  7. 7

    Heat oil to 375°F.

  8. 8

    Fry ice cream balls one at a time for 30-45 seconds only until coating is golden.

    Do not let them melt.

  10. 10

    Serve immediately with whipped cream and honey.
