Ingredients

  • 1.00 lb smoked sausage , sliced
  • 1.50 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1.00 onion , diced
  • 1.00 g reen bell pepper , diced
  • 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
  • 2.00 cup chicken broth
  • 1.00 cup water
  • 2.00 tbsp vegetable oil
  • cajun seasoning , salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Brown sausage slices and remove.

    Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened.

    Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

    Add rice and stir to coat.

    Pour in broth and water.

    Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    Return sausage to skillet.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook 20 minutes until rice is tender.

    Fluff with fork and serve.
