Ingredients

  • 1.00 lb medium shrimp , peeled and deveined
  • 1.00 cup cornmeal
  • 0.50 cup flour
  • 1.00 tsp cajun seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 4.00 hoagie rolls
  • lettuce , tomato, pickles
  • remoulade sauce

Instructions

    Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

    Mix cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning.

    Dredge shrimp in cornmeal mixture.

    Fry in hot oil at 375°F for 2-3 minutes until golden.

    Drain on paper towels.
