Shrimp Po Boy
Crispy fried shrimp on French bread with remoulade, lettuce, and tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 1.00 lb medium shrimp , peeled and deveined
- 1.00 cup cornmeal
- 0.50 cup flour
- 1.00 tsp cajun seasoning
- salt and pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
- 4.00 hoagie rolls
- lettuce , tomato, pickles
- remoulade sauce

Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

Mix cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning.

Dredge shrimp in cornmeal mixture.

Fry in hot oil at 375°F for 2-3 minutes until golden.

Drain on paper towels.

Split and toast rolls.

Spread remoulade on rolls.

Fill with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and fried shrimp.
