Slow Cooked Oxtails
Braised oxtails in a rich tomato and herb gravy served over rice.
Ingredients
- 3.00 lb oxtails
- 0.25 cup flour
- 3.00 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 4.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 2.00 cup beef broth
- 1.00 cup red wine
- 2.00 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- salt , pepper, thyme, and bay leaf
- cooked white rice
Instructions

Season oxtails with salt and pepper and dust with flour.

Brown all over in hot oil.

Remove and place in slow cooker.

Sauté onion in same pot.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Pour in broth, wine, and Worcestershire.

Pour over oxtails in slow cooker.

Add thyme and bay leaf.

Cook on low 8-10 hours until very tender.

Remove bay leaf.

Serve oxtails and rich gravy over white rice.
