Ingredients

  • 3.00 lb chicken pieces
  • 2.00 cup buttermilk
  • 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.00 tsp garlic powder
  • 2.00 tsp paprika
  • 1.00 tsp onion powder
  • 1.00 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2.00 tsp salt
  • 1.00 tsp black pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

    Marinate chicken in buttermilk at least 4 hours or overnight.

    Mix flour with all spices.

    Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in seasoned flour.

    Let rest on a rack 10 minutes.
