Shrimp Creole
Gulf shrimp in a spicy Creole tomato sauce served over steamed white rice.
Ingredients
- 2.00 lb large shrimp , peeled and deveined
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 1.00 g reen bell pepper , diced
- 3.00 stalks celery , diced
- 4.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 1.00 cup an tomatoes
- 1.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 tsp cajun seasoning
- 0.50 tsp thyme
- salt and pepper
- cooked white rice
Instructions

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Sauté onion, bell pepper, and celery until softened, about 8 minutes.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add tomatoes, broth, Cajun seasoning, and thyme.

Simmer 15 minutes.

Add shrimp and cook 3-5 minutes until pink and cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve over white rice.
