Chicken and Rice Soup
Simple comforting chicken and rice soup with celery, carrots, and onion.
Ingredients
- 2.00 bone-in chicken breasts
- 8.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 cup long-grain white rice
- 3.00 cup arrots , diced
- 3.00 stalks celery , diced
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 3.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- salt , pepper, and thyme to taste
- fresh parsley
Instructions

Place chicken in a large pot with broth, vegetables, garlic, and seasonings.

Bring to a boil then simmer 30-40 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken and shred meat.

Return shredded chicken to pot and bring back to a boil.

Add rice and cook 20 minutes until tender.
