Ingredients

  • 1.00 lb thick cut bacon
  • 0.50 cup brown sugar
  • 0.50 cup finely pecans
  • 1.00 tbsp maple syrup
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.

    Lay bacon strips on rack.

    Mix brown sugar, pecans, maple syrup, and cayenne together.

    Press mixture firmly onto top of each bacon strip.

    Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and coating is caramelized.

    Cool 5 minutes on rack before serving.
