Pecan Waffles
Golden waffles loaded with chopped toasted pecans and served with bourbon maple syrup.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 2.00 tsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 2.00 tbsp sugar
- 2.00 l arge eggs , separated
- 1.75 cup whole milk
- 0.50 cup butter
- 1.00 cup pecans

Preheat waffle iron.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Beat egg yolks with milk and melted butter.

Stir wet into dry until just combined.

Fold in pecans.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into batter.

Cook in waffle iron until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
