Mustard Greens with Ham
Tender mustard greens slow cooked with smoked ham hock and pepper vinegar.
Ingredients
- 2.00 bunches mustard greens , cleaned and chopped
- 1.00 ham hock or 4 strips bacon
- 1.00 onion , diced
- 4.00 cup loves garlic , minced
- 4.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- salt , pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions

Cook ham hock or bacon in a large pot.

Add onion and cook until softened.

Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add mustard greens and broth.

Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Cover and cook 45-60 minutes until greens are very tender.

Add vinegar and adjust seasoning.

Serve with pot likker as a side dish or main.
