Dewberry Cobbler
Wild dewberries baked under a golden drop biscuit cobbler topping.
Ingredients
- 4.00 cup fresh dewberries or wild blackberries
- 1.00 cup sugar for berries
- batter: 1 cup flour , 1 cup sugar, 1 cup whole milk, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 tbsp baking powder, pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Toss dewberries with 1 cup sugar.

Pour melted butter into a 9x13 baking dish.

Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt, then stir in milk.

Pour batter over butter without stirring.

Spoon berries and juices over batter without stirring.

Bake 45-50 minutes until golden and batter rises around berries.
