Ingredients

  • 1.00 lb elbow macaroni
  • 4.00 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3.00 cup whole milk
  • 2.00 cup sharp cheddar
  • 1.00 cup colby jack
  • 1.00 tsp dry mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 1.00 cup breadcrumbs mixed with 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Cook macaroni until just underdone and drain.

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Make cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, slowly adding milk, cooking until thick.

    Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups cheddar, all Colby jack, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.

    Mix with macaroni and pour into greased 9x13 dish.

    Top with remaining cheddar and buttered breadcrumbs.

    Bake 25-30 minutes until golden.
