Country Ribs and Sauerkraut
Pork country ribs slow cooked with sauerkraut until meltingly tender.
Ingredients
- 3.00 lb country-style pork ribs
- 2.00 cup ans sauerkraut
- 1.00 onion , sliced
- 1.00 cup apple juice
- 1.00 tbsp brown sugar
- salt , pepper, and caraway seeds
Instructions

Season ribs with salt and pepper.

Brown in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Remove and set aside.

Add onion and cook until softened.

Mix sauerkraut with apple juice, brown sugar, and caraway seeds.

Pour into Dutch oven.

Nestle ribs into sauerkraut.

Cover and braise at 325°F for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until ribs are very tender.

Serve ribs with sauerkraut.
